Finally some news!

Dear descendant & contact,

I hope all of you are doing okey! I would like to welcome the new descendants and contacts who have recently emailed us.

Thanks guys for believing and supporting the research!

The research is going great and everyday we receive emails filled with information. We still have to answer 100 emails and go through the different piles of paperwork.

The online database is still being edited and not accessible at the moment. We don't want no one to feel offended that their info is not listed. We urge you to please send us your family information so we can open the online database to each one of you. For those who have contributed with family info we would like to thank you so much!

Currently we are also busy preparing for the reunion 2008 in Sint Maarten N.A. 1st week in August 2008. Our eldest descendant will make a 100 years old and his name is Douglas Cannegieter. Uncle Dougie as we call him is not doing so good these days and we ask you to please remember him and all descendants in your prayers.

The local newspaper also did a special article on the research. We would like to thank Alita Singh of the Daily Herald for her great job.
