Head of Census Office SXM excited about the VR-research

In November 2007 Malaki Croes got introduced to Ms. Leona Marlin, Head of the Census Office SXM. The ladies met at Cornie's Beach Bar owned by descendant Cornelius de Weever together with the de Weever-Cannegieter branch & Maruja Cannegieter ( Douglas Sinclair Cannegieter's daughter). Enjoying the nice weather and the beautiful Great Bay Beach the ladies talked about their passion for family research.

During the reunion in August 2008 a seminar/workshop titled " Making your Caribbean Family Tree with the use of modern tools" will be held at the Philipsburg Jubilee Library in Sint Maarten. Currently Malaki Croes is working on the aspects of the seminar/workshop together with the assistance of Leona Marlin, Mathais Voges & Will Johnson.
