The history of the Van Romondt West Indian Branch begins on the island of Sint Maarten N.A. (SXM).
Diederik Johannes van Romondt arrived in approximately the year 1800 and in 1820 he was appointed as governor till 1840.
The year 2007 is exactly 207 years ago that our history was born on the beautiful island of SXM.
To keep the beauty of SXM alive several organisations have started their programs and are paying very much attention to keep protecting the island's nature.
