Sint Maarten Museum

Mrs. Bosc and Mrs. Violenus. she is a New yorker with sint Maarten family ties and she sponsored the book you see on the picture on Oral history.
One of our contributors is mrs. Elsje Bosch at the Sint Maarten Museum in Philipsburg Sint Maarten N.A.
The Sint Maarten Museum at The Dutch side is open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday and from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Saturday and has a great collection of the history of Sint Maarten N.A. History buffs can visit the Sint Maarten Museum, which has displays on island history with Arawak pottery shards, plantation-era artifacts, period photos and a few items from the H.M.S. Proselyte, the frigate that sank off Fort Amsterdam in 1801.
